Created by René Ramillon and Andrè Vincent back in 1952, Moncler – short for Monestier-de-Cleremont started out making down jackets for laborers who needed dependable warmth and durability while working in extreme temperatures. 

Fast forward to the present day and although the brand has risen the social ladder in terms of clientele, it has never strayed from the quality and craftsmanship that put in on the map over 70s years ago.

The latest addition to Moncler’s footwear fleet is the Trailgrip GTX Low, a reinforced off-road silhouette that takes the blueprint of outdoor-centric sneakers and expands on it, both literally and figuratively. Made from leather, ripstop, and synthetic materials, the upper comes equipped with all the durability you need to attack the day. Supported by an EVA foam midsole, and a treaded Vibram® Megagrip rubber outsole, conquering any terrain is well within its purview. And yes the weather is great from up here, thanks.
